I Am Fighting For You...

As I spent time with God this morning, He took me back to my time living in India. At the time, I felt so helpless in all that I saw.

He spoke...

"I see a garden, where they once walked with Me."

This was the phrase God gave me, as I traveled through India feeling SO overwhelmed by all of the need & desperation all around me. How could I make a difference here?

That's when God broke through my thoughts & said- "Ask Me what I see."

So I asked.

Suddenly, the brown, generations deep trash- coated roads, the burning garbage heaps all around and the smell of it, the noise, the raw open sewage running down the side, the helpless mothers and starving children- it all disappeared...it all got quiet, and in it's place I could see the most BEAUTIFUL, lush, thick and green wild jungle garden I had ever seen.

ALL of the pain and misery that surrounded this place, were gone.

Birds, gleaming white in the sunshine flew overhead. Rivers, so clean and clear, flowed through.

His response floored me, and shifted how I saw this place. How I felt in it. All in a single moment.

His voice, thick with longing, recited His memory to my tired mind.

"All of creation is groaning and waiting for the sons of God to be revealed." Romans 8:19

They remember too.

The Spirit of God is travailing, groaning, interceding for us, and with us.

All of creation- the whole earth - is waiting together with Him, for US to be restored to HIM. To His original plan and intent for it all-

The garden.

He says- "This is the BIGGER PICTURE. Where all of it is headed. Where light and darkness clash, where you find yourself in the middle of a war between forces and principalities- THIS is where you will find Me both interceding and fighting alongside you.

You are not alone.

I remember and call forth to mind the plans I have for ALL of you- for all of humanity along with the entire created order.

I REMEMBER.

And because of this, you are not destroyed. This is the fear of the Lord.

Because I remember, I call forth My covenant. I'm not a man (like you) which means I cannot lie. I was not subjected to the fall.

But I CALL FORTH TO MIND the plans I have for you- ALL of humanity -it is a declaration I have made and swore by Myself that I will fulfill.

So when you feel overwhelmed, ASK Me.

ASK Me, what do I see? And allow Me to shift, to move your perspective. LOOK AT ME- not at all that is around you that "feels" like insurmountable giants. And TRUST that I am a man of My Word- I will not break it.

I am Faithful and True."
