Answering The Call...

When I first arrived at YWAM LA, it was with a knowing that this was the place God had for me next. I arrived with two suitcases, enough money for DTS & a deep desire to go deeper in the understanding of what my call was to the nations.

I have since traveled all over Latin America, going deeper into the language & culture my family derives its roots from. I have staffed a Business With A Mission school, & received from the Lord what I feel is a comprehensive business plan that I seek to implement in the near future. (More on that later!) I have grown as a musician & worship leader, having been given the honor to lead our base in worship nights, community events & staff worship times. I have led local churches & houses of prayer, from Pasadena to Hollywood, into the presence of Jesus.

I have grown in leadership & stewardship over the areas of the campus I was given to oversee. From preparing for & hosting teams, to managing the front end & back-end management of our campus coffee shop, Aviva Cafe.

But above all, I have learned that God's heart for people is HUGE. He desires to reach each individual, from the homeless drug addict on the street to the internet influencer, the grocery store clerk, to the single mother unsure of the future. He has a vision for the nations that far surpasses our understanding. He is just as interested in reaching the city of Los Angeles & our families, just as much as the poorest of the earth on the other side of the globe. THIS is a large part of what I believe God brought me here to learn.

It is with this deeper understanding that I believe He is now releasing me back into the international mission field.

SO, the announcement I have been waiting to make, that perhaps some of you already know- I am OFFICIALLY headed to Nepal on Monday September 15th!!!

I will be staffing as a student in a 6 month program called W.I.S.E. which stands for

"Worship-Intercession-Spiritual Warfare-Evangelism". Because of the experience I have gained leading worship & prayer for many years, I was invited to staff by my good friend & previous housemate, Laura. She is a full-time missionary with Fire & Fragrance Himalayas in this beautiful nation & has been for 3 years.

God has provided in MIRACULOUS ways, providing the $2500 that was needed for the lecture portion of this school! This is the first 2 & 1/2 months. This means I am already halfway there! I have purchased my ticket, & am beyond excited for this next leg of the journey in missions!

I feel that God has something not just for me to give, but to learn for the future in this beautiful nation.

FUN fact- when I led the children's home in India back in 2014, all of the kids, as well as our home cooks, were Nepali! So, this will not be my first experience with their culture, but it will be my first time in their nation!

I am now fund-raising for the OUTREACH portion of this school, which starts December 13th beginning in the villages of the Himalayas, culminating February 6th.

This cost is an additional $2500.00 which I am currently raising now!
