We have the new Oral Bible Translation Institute led by Marsha & Suzuki from Brazil, along with their adopted daughter that moved to our base, joined by their staff! We are SO excited to see the nations joining us, with more internationals currently than Americans! The nations are HERE in California, & it is an honor to be a part of what God is doing!

Prayer Needs!

• Our base has been in a time of transition, in many ways pioneering a new season post-covid. With the cost of everything going up (+ number of staff lower), we are finding ourselves in financial need. With covid having shut the state down for 2 years, though we were in a good financial position, not being able to run schools, host teams, ect has put a massive financial strain on us as staff that live solely on support. We are in need of a BREAKTHROUGH! Please, pray for us! For finances, for more open doors, for wisdom as we branch into the future. Also, pray the Lord sends investors who have a desire to sow into the Kingdom of God!

• I have decided that I am not putting an "expiration date" on my time with YWAM LA. I signed a 2 year agreement, but I am surrendering how long He wants me here. If you know anything of my story, this is a HUGE leap of faith for me. It is easier for me to be financially independent, but God has called me into a season of relying on Him, & not my own resources to sustain me. It is a 40 hour week commitment on the base, & I am working multiple weekends volunteering in our Justice 180 coffee shop, which I receive tips for, but not pay. But He has been FAITHFUL!!!

TESTIMONY!

At the beginning of the year, a local grocery store that had partnered with us for years announced they would begin supporting a different organization. This was how we supplemented & received food as missionaries. We prayed, & God opened a HUGE door!

We are now in partnership with Amazon Fresh, as well as Panera which has not only blessed the staff, but ALSO the local community! We went from wondering what we were going to eat from day to day, to now being able to support those of low income in the local community. WOW! Only God can do that!
