In 2008, God uprooted my life, transplanting me to Kansas City. I had been accepted into music school- a dream I never dared dream for my life- but He did. After four years, I graduated a vocal performance major. Within those four years, He wrote into the storyline written songs, spoken word, deep friendships, journeys throughout the U.S. (even Hawaii) & the biggest surprise of all- travels to Japan. It was completely unexpected, but He dreamt it for me. With the words He spoke when He first captured my heart ringing in my ears "I know the plans I have for you..." I said yes to opportunities to co-lead five different teams of students from my university over the course of those four years. From the reaches of Osaka, to Tokyo, & onward to Sendai then Fukushima to serve the precious people who lost everything in the earthquake, & tsunami that ravaged their cities & lives, He led me.

Those years established both my identity in Him, as well as the surety of what He had called me to do.
Fast-Forward...
I do not regret a single moment of His leadership over my life. I have lived in Kansas City for 12 years now. Post graduation, after leading my final team to Japan, He began drawing my heart towards India. A total surprise, but I had made Him a promise 'Wherever & whenever You ask me to, I will GO.' I served some of the most beautiful, incredible people I have ever met, serving twice over the course of a year. The first for a month, the second a length of three months. It revealed to me my deeper need for further training as well as shaped what I believe will be a vision for people groups that I will carry into the future. Over the course of the last five years since that time, He began speaking into yet another dream He had begun planting in my heart during a two week school outreach to Los Angeles, CA in 2009. As I had prayed, "What do You want for me after I graduate?" He clearly began speaking, "YWAM LA." Friends, God has NOW opened the door to that dream becoming a reality. I am ecstatic to announce: I AM MOVING TO LOS ANGELES AT THE END OF 2020! God miraculously connected me to the YWAM Los Angeles base a few summers ago, & per my acceptance into the Compassion-Ignite DTS (Discipleship Training School), I will embark on yet a another adventure beginning the first week of January 2021! WOW. I stand amazed & stunned at the dreams He has birthed for my life since I said YES. The miracles. The provision. The adventures. ALL of it point to a loving Father who, true to His word "Know the plans I have for you..." the plans He has had in His heart since He breathed life into my lungs. I want to both encourage you to begin pressing into what has He called you to, as well as challenge you- together with myself- to believe BIGGER than what you on your own could imagine, or dare to dream.
